DIVERSITY TRAINING MATERIALS PROJECT
I would like to inform members of a project
being undertaken by the
Leadership Foundation for Higher Education Foundation on diversity training
materials. The Foundation has commissioned Knowledge Perspectives,
a company with a background in research and policy around equality and
diversity, to undertake a three-month project on diversity training
materials in higher education. The main aim of the project is to ensure that
materials currently in use are shared across the
sector.
Key
stages of the project are to:

liaise
with key stakeholders to determined the current provision of diversity
training materials and to identify any gaps
-
compile a
handbook or set of materials with these resources for use across the higher
education sector
-
report to
the Diversity Advisory Group with key findings at the end of the three
months
The resulting publication(s) will be available in Spring 2006 in
hard-copy and on the Foundation's website.
