Dear colleagues,
Further to Liz’s email below, we can
confirm that ACAS’s guidance on the final age regulations will be
published on 18 April.
The debate that took place in the House of
Lords yesterday gave a useful summary of the issues and some of the differences
between the draft and final regulations. This can be read at the
following link: http://www.parliament.the-stationery-office.co.uk/pa/ld199697/ldhansrd/pdvn/lds06/text/60330-20.htm#60330-20_head0
Finally, we have been working on revisions
to our web-based frequently asked questions in the light of the final
regulations, and we hope that these will be up on our website early next
week. We’ll let you know when both the revised FAQs and the ACAS
guidance are available.
With best wishes,
Robyn and Liz
