Over the past week or so we have experienced problems with a number of fluoride oxalate specimens clotting. We use BD 2mL vacutainers (FX 5mg 4mg) and our current batch details are:  REF 367934       LOT5181416      EXP 2006-10.

Our assumption is that if the specimens are clotted then they are unsuitable for glucose analysis.

If any other mailbase users have experienced similar problems recently I would be very interested to know the details.
Many thanks
