Hi, I'm reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of the traditional 4-step sequential transport model and I'm looking for practical examples of some of its failings (or some of the underlying assumptions that are sometimes/typically violated). I'm not worried (at this stage) about failure to get some of the input variables correct as I'm dealing with those separately. I'm more interested in the 'internal workings' of the 4- stage model itself. So, for example, one issue would be the fixed trip matrix assumption. I'd be very interested to hear of any other weaknesses that modelling practitioners have faced which perhaps have limited the use of the model or have caused you to place caveats on modelling results. Many thanks in advance. Rob Bain ITS Leeds
