The April run of our course Practical Bayesian Data Analysis was fully
subscribed, and we are planning an additional course: 25 - 27 July 2006.

Course Outline:
This course is aimed at statisticians, and other data analysts, who wish to
learn how to analyse their data from a Bayesian perspective using WinBUGS.

Although the emphasis is on practical methods of data analysis, concepts of
Bayesian inference are introduced and MCMC methods are explained. The
course provides ample opportunity for hands-on practical work with WinBUGS
and R. No prior knowledge of either is assumed. Starting from simple
ideas, a Bayesian modelling framework is developed covering hierarchical
models and a variety of applications. The course also covers MCMC
diagnostics and methods of model checking and selection.
