CONTRACT: Biostatistician Trainee OR Junior Required UK Based 6-12 month rolling contract Job Summary: Working under the supervision of an experienced biostatistician and/or programmer to assist in the production of statistical reports and the programming of tables, listings and figures. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: * Produce simple tables, figures and data listings using efficient programming techniques * Perform simple statistical analyses under supervision * Assist in the production of statistical reports and statistical sections of integrated clinical reports * Check own work in an ongoing way to ensure first-time quality * Communicate process improvement ideas within the department * Other duties as assigned Essential Skills & Capabilities: * Minimum of first degree (undergraduate or equivalent) in Biostatistics or another relevant discipline * Good analytical skills * Professional attitude * Attention to detail * Prior experience with SAS programming desirable * Address technical issues effectively with written and verbal communication * Explain statistical and technical issues effectively to other Biostatisticians and technical staff An excellent opportunity awaits for this renewable contract.
