Learning Technologist (0.6FTE), 21 Hours per week AP5 £24,340 - £26,563 pa pro rata* *pending Job Evaluation Review The School is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative learning technologist to play a key role in the implementation, support and promotion of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) across the academic community. You will work closely with the Head of Learning Resources and Head of IT as well as academic and support staff to ensure the best educational use of the VLE. You will be educated to degree level. A postgraduate or professional qualification in IT or education would be an advantage as would experience of working with VLEs within the HE or FE sectors. You will have an understanding of the issues surrounding the use of digital technologies to support and enhance learning and teaching and have experience of supporting academic staff in this area through the provision of staff development, guidance and technical expertise. Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills are essential as is the ability to manage workload independently.
