Innovating e-Learning 2006: Transforming Learning Experiences, an online
conference based around the work of the e-Learning and Pedagogy and
Innovation strands of the JISC e-Learning Programme will be held on 27 - 31
March 2006.

The five-day conference will be highlight the three cornerstones of
effective practice with e-learning: learning activity design, learners'
experiences of e-learning, and the impact of emerging technologies. The
programme is divided into three themes and a plenary, each with its own
keynote speaker:

Laurillard, Chair of Learning with Digital Technologies at the London

Heppell, Learn3K Research Centre, National College of Ireland.

31 March: Plenary

Chris Yapp, Head of Public Sector Innovation at Microsoft, will close the
conference with a discussion on how to take forward a vision for
transforming learner experiences.

Please note that although the conference extends over 5 days, each theme
will run over 2 days. You may wish to select the theme that most closely
matches your interests - it is recommended that you are available to
participate whenever possible on the days you have selected. The conference
will be open the week before 27 March, so that participants can view
presentations and papers, and all discussions will be available for reading
only for two weeks after the official close of the conference.

Expressions of interest for submissions that illustrate some aspect of the
above themes are invited from practitioners, action researchers,
