The Georgia Institute of Technology is hosting a measurement conference on New Directions in Psychological Measurement with Model-Based Approaches. The conference will be held on February 17-18, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia. This conference features 11 internationally known measurement scholars who will present their developments in model-based measurement. The newest addition to this slate of invited speakers is Professor Donald Rubin who will present his research on "Using EM and MCMC Algorithms to Study Responses in Experiments with Schizophrenic and Normal Patients." In addition to the scheduled speakers, all conference attendants are invited to present posters that describe their own measurement oriented research. Attendants who wish to present posters should submit an abstract of 500 words by December 19, 2005 to Dr. Susan Embretson (<mailto:[log in to unmask]>[log in to unmask]). Abstracts should be electronically submitted in Word, WordPerfect or PDF format.
