X Box etc

Dear List,

in this world of mushrooming opportunities for electronic fun and games and particularly the income-generating potential thereof, has anyone branched out beyond the now fairly trad triad of CD/DVD/Playstation loans or hire?

We are finding CD use is dropping fast, DVDs are doing fine and Playstation hire is tailing off - should we get into X-Box etc or make our excuses and retire?
