Hi Yves, When you set up your proxy did you use the -d option? $myproxy-init -d This sets up a proxy using the dn of your grid certificate. If you omit the -d option I think a proxy gets set up with your login name. e.g. I got (on 25th Nov! notice the user is my grid certificate dn) $myproxy-init -d Your identity: /C=UK/O=eScience/OU=Glasgow/L=Compserv/CN=jamie ferguson Enter GRID pass phrase for this identity: Creating proxy....................................... Done Proxy Verify OK Your proxy is valid until: Fri Nov 25 12:09:16 2005 Enter MyProxy pass phrase: Verifying password - Enter MyProxy pass phrase: A proxy valid for 168 hours (7.0 days) for user /C=UK/O=eScience/OU=Glasgow/L=Compserv/CN=jamie ferguson now exists on lcgrbp01.gridpp.rl.ac.uk. To check to see if a proxy exists on lcgrbp01.gridpp.rl.ac.uk you can then use $ myproxy-info -s lcgrbp01.gridpp.rl.ac.uk -d username: /C=UK/O=eScience/OU=Glasgow/L=Compserv/CN=jamie ferguson owner: /C=UK/O=eScience/OU=Glasgow/L=Compserv/CN=jamie ferguson timeleft: 167:59:27 (7.0 days) Cheers, Jamie.
