Subject: Networking seminar - Meeting the Challenge for healthy
food
Please find attached an invitation to the second in a series
of networking seminars to be held in Scotland. The title of the
seminar, organised in association with University of Abertay Dundee and
the Institute of Consumer Sciences, is Meeting the
Challenge for healthy food.
The objectives of the seminar are:
* To inform delegates and stimulate discussion on the latest
policy developments and consumer issues
* To consider the research agenda in consumer policy in
relation to the food sector
* To discuss opportunities for applied research for public
bodies, consumer organisations and commercial / food manufacturers
* To generate interest in collaboration within Universities,
between Universities and between Universities and external organisations
in relation to food
The event will take place at Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa,
1 West Victoria Dock Road, Dundee

) on Wednesday 18 January
2006 at 11.45 - 2.00. There will be no charge for attending the event but
places are limited so please respond as quickly as possible. Further
details on the project and seminar are attached together with a reply
