Meglitinides are supposed to take care of post prandial sugar peaks quite similar to short acting insulin that is also used for the purpose and Sulfonyureas would be more akin to longer acting insulin according to their pkinetics. However there is not much literature available on using both in antidiabetic regimens although they can be combined with other insulin sensitisers. Would anyone be able to provide me with more literature on their combined usage (which seems very plausible other than the paucity of literature advocating their combined use)? Rakesh
