Dear All

I would be grateful if you could forward this message to colleagues with an interest in Construction or Property Law.

BEL-NET (the Built Environment Law Network) will be holding two inaugural meetings in April 2006 to which all are invited. BEL-NET is a newly launched international network of researchers in the legal aspects of the Built Environment subject area. It includes researchers in Construction, Real Estate, Housing, Planning and the Environment as well as academic lawyers within Law Schools.

The two meetings will take place at the following venues and times:
  a.. Imperial College London - Monday 3 April 2006, 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm
  b.. Hong Kong Polytechnic University - Wednesday 12 April 2006, 9.30 am - 12.30 pm
The purpose of each meeting will be to discuss the scope and role of the network and to identify particular areas of law-related research activity. Further details and an agenda will be circulated nearer the time to all those who plan to attend.

Those wishing to attend, or to receive information about other activities organised by BEL-NET, are asked to register their interest by responding to this email.

Many thanks

Paul Chynoweth
