Hi Mark Can you ask Ian Parker what he meant by, " There is an overlap between what I try to do under the rubric 'critical psychology' - in which I take my distance from the 'postmodern' relativist merely academic attempt to carve out a market niche for the 'criticals'- and what Mark is doing in the sphere of 'community psychology'", please? Was he saying that one of the principal uses of postmodernism is as a selling point for "critical" workers in the academic market? Thanks PS To clarify my intentions in asking the question, I am interested in what his clarification meant and how the term "postmodern" may be useful in different ways in different contexts.
