The theme of the conference, chaired by Linda McDowell, is global social justice and environmental sustainability. The conference will be held in London at the Society 30 August -- 1 September 2006. We welcome a range of sessions from research groups and other geographers world-wide who are interested in participating. Details on how to propose a session including plenary and poster sessions, can be found on the new website link: www.rgs.org/ac2006 Please do not forget to indicate how many sessions and papers you will be presenting and if you will need any AV equipment.
