E-Learning Developer (Ref: 5087)

Salary: £22,507 to £29,128 per annum


The School of Arts, Communication and Humanities is leading the use of blended e-Learning at the University.  The e-Learning Developer has a key role in providing expertise in visual design and accessibility for the development of e-learning materials, as well as technical support for academics designing courses using the University's VLE, WebCT Vista. This expertise will also guide the design and development of the School's website. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience designing web-based teaching materials to join our team. You will already have extensive knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver and will be able to produce templates, stylesheets and web pages compliant with accessibility standards. A flair for graphic design with practical expertise using Photoshop or other digital graphics software is essential. Experience using Flash, DTP programmes and of WebCT Vista would be desirable. You should also have a good understanding of the delivery of web-based multimedia and knowledge of working within a Virtual Learning Environment.
