medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Anne Marshall's web site "Medieval Wall Painting in the English Parish Church" (http://www.paintedchurch.org/index.htm) would be one way to test the placement of St. Christopher paintings in various churches . She has a list of about 25 examples of Christopher plus some narrative about the legend: http://www.paintedchurch.org/contensc.htm.

Best,
John
