The scheme supports artists in experimenting with new ways of working and researching or taking ideas further, without the pressure to realize a final product. We define Digital Media as work that utilizes a digital process in its creation. This includes photography, video, print, music or sound production, the construction of materials through digital technology, computer-generated art, web or internet based work and live web-cast. Artists utilizing any of the above media within a live performance context can also apply, as well as those involved in practices where digital culture is the subject or content of the work. In addition to the bursary, each recipient is supported with a fund to cover to access and facilitation costs such as interpretation, travel and intermediaries. Artists considering applying are welcome to contact one of Artsadmin's artists advisors for an informal discussion, in person or by phone. Application guidelines are downloadable from Artsadmin's website: http://www.artsadmin.co.uk/artistsadvisor/bursaryscheme.html <http://www.artsadmin.co.uk/artistsadvisor/bursaryscheme.html> Application deadline: Monday 7 November 6pm, by post or email.
