This Personality Disorder Master Class 2005 series has been developed by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust Personality Disorder Training Pilot in partnership with Homerton School of Health Studies. The Training Pilot is funded by the Department of Health through the NIMHE Eastern Regional Development Centre in order to promote training and workforce development at a variety of levels. The 2005 Master Classes will provide essential training and development opportunities for Psychologists, Psychiatrists, GPs, Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Carers, Service Users and other Allied Health Professionals. The Master Classes will contribute to the development of skills in our workforce and promote effective and socially inclusive working practices for people working with people with personality disorder. Each of the four Master Classes focuses on one of the specific capabilities outlined in the NIMHE 2003 document Breaking the Cycle of Rejection: The Personality Disorder Capabilities Framework, which aim to highlight the key targets for development of a workforce that is more aware of the impact of personality disorder on individuals, their families, agencies, staff teams and society. Delegates can choose to access one, two, three or all four of the Master Class events. Please note there is a discount of £50 for delegates booking all four events.
