The contact is Daniel Pett [[log in to unmask]] in the Portable
Antiquities Scheme, phone 020 7323 8618, but he's away until later this
week. The version of the database allowing direct downloads from searches
is due to come online in second half od this month I believe. I have
previously ordered specific downloads (eg one years finds from Suffolk) from
the scheme - the data in that case was in comma separated tables which I
imported into MSAccess.

Dear All
Has any SMR/HER signed the above and/or received any data from the Portable
Antiquities Scheme yet?

I would be grateful for any advice, on or off forum, as to how to set this
process going, and some information about what form the data arrives in.
Many thanks.
Nigel.
