The ESRC National Centre for e-Social Science http://www.ncess.ac.uk/ is organising an Agenda Setting Workshop on e-infrastructures for social simulation (Manchester, 26th of October).

The aim of the workshop is to determine what organisational, conceptual and technical infrastructures are required to foster the usage of computational models in the social sciences.

Places are still available and registration is free.

The workshop is divided into four sessions centred on different aspects of the social simulation workflow:

·         Sharing Knowledge

·         Modelling

·         Computing

·         Verifying and Validating

The (provisional and editable) programme is available on the workshop Wiki at:

Proposals for short presentations or demos (of up to 10 minutes each), that can contribute to the discussion, are welcome.

Regards,
