Incedentally Colin, one of my reasons for attending this conference was to
have the opportunity to ask Temple Grandin, why she so readily speaks at
varios conferences supporting the cure/defeat autism perspective, which I
duly did in private conversation.

There were neurodiverse speakers, Temple Grandin, maybe was the headliner,
but I was also making a presentation alongside two teenagers on the spectrum
who have been disadvantaged by the educational system who spoke quite freely
an uninhibititly about those experiences I think we have all shared. And
that is not the limit either.

Long before you made your protests, I was making mine from within, and
everything I have done over the past two days, and at considerable expence
and difficulty to myself has been in support in varios ways of the
neurodiverse cause, and to ensure that the behemoth of the NAS is taking
notice. I strongly suspect that some of the more negative presentations were
as embarrasing to the NAS as they were to me.

Do not believe for one moment that it is easy for me, but it is my duty to
use what experience I have and skills inside the NAS without compromising my
integrity or belief.
