Gianfranco, I think you are confusing two issues. 

a) any problem with the RAL RB is unrelated to yesterday's downtime.
That is consistent with you seeing problems last week.

b) the significance of access to RAL data was my justification for
announcing the downtime, nothing to do with the RB.
