Hi Folks People may have seen this message on LCG rollout asking for sites' experiences with DPM and LFC. We think it would be a good idea for experinces in the UK to be collated - hopefully giving more weight to our requests for improvements. Could responses be gathered for UKI by either * responding to this message on TB-SUPPORT/GRIDPP-STORAGE (which ensures it reaches the right people). or * sending your reply to [log in to unmask] and [log in to unmask] (for DPM/dCache) [log in to unmask] (for LFC) in both cases CCing to [log in to unmask] As all sites will need to be planning deployment of an SRM SE soon (Jens' SRM Salon now open at http://wiki.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Which_SRM) can we also ask for a response if sites have * deployed dCache instead of DPM (answering the same sort of questions) and in any case if sites * intend to install dCache/SRM, with an indication of possible timescales and storage avaliable. If responses could be gathered before GridPP 14 (by Monday 5th September) that would be great. With respect to the LFC, sites should note that several VOs require a local installation of the LFC, summarised in http://wiki.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Tier_2_DM_Requirements Which brings me to, finally, the new GridPP "Whiter than White" Documentation Wiki.
