Thanks, Jack, for the question. I have responded to it at: http://www.jackwhitehead.com/monday/mlberae.htm and hope that it goes some way to accounting for the work I have been doing. I am glad of the opportunity to write something like this at a time when a phase of my educational life is coming to an end. With only one more year at China's Experimental Centre for Educational Action Research in Foreign Languages Teaching (CECEARFLT) I am anxious to find ways of leaving educationally.
