The Sarum Use has the following verse to the Offertory:

V. Domine abstraxisti ab inferis animam meam: salvasti me a descendentibus 
in lacum.
(adapted from Ps. 29:4)

As Ash Wednesday is a feria and not a Sunday, the verse would be sung.
