Why closed access Richard? Have you had bad experiences with open access and security cases? If not this might solve your problem and is less time consuming.

Subject: Closed access storage for DVDs/CDs/Playstation Games etc.
Hi all,
We are currently looking at a large refurbishment project in one of our town
centre libraries. One of the problems we have encountered is with closed
access storage for our discs. We have nearly 3000 DVDs, 1000 + CDs and a
couple of hundred Playstation Games. How does everybody else manage to
store the discs for these items? We have looked at racking and drawers but
our staffs are of mixed opinion as to which is best, we are open to new
ideas, can anybody help?
