Deborah,

I beg to differ. I have 'borrowed' loads of stuff from US educational web sites for Critical Thinking. They are usually Community Colleges where presumably they teach the academically weak students who haven't gone directly to a 'proper' University. It just goes under different names. 'Informal Logic' is one - put it in a search engine and see what you get. Also try Matthew Lipman (an American ) and Philosophy for Children (P4C) and links from those sites. Also try the 'Gifted & Talented' Programmes, and Home Schooling - they all have bits and bobs. I am sorry to not be more specific but I have a real problem with proper names (a real bummer in this job!) and all my references are in school and I am now at home.
