Many thanks Paul. Although we had some 57 casualties, I'm aware that my
colleagues in the Royal London Hospital, in the new University College
Hospital and in my "alma mater" St Mary's Hospital took a larger "hit" than
we did. No doubt there were several other hospitals involved too.

It's especially ironic that we were celebrating London's success yesterday,
much of which related to the emphasis on our vibrant multicultural society
in the capital.

From the medical perspective, our colleagues' response and support was
superlative, while our managers have once again been reminded of the
importance of our own specialty.

Regards to all on the list around the globe.
