Invitation to Tender: 'Flying Cataloguers' Project. Addressing cataloguing backlogs is consistently stated as the chief underlying obstacle preventing access to collections. Along with funding, a quantity of suitable qualified staff are needed to address these backlogs. NEMLAC is seeking a consultant to examine staffing models that would enable the cataloguing backlogs of archive collections in the North East. The project will run upon commencement of the contract. The deadline for production of the final report is October. The deadline for applications is 9:00 on 27th June 2005.
