Dear Greenleapers,

CANA (Climate Action Network Australia) is currently planning some
research on communicating climate change. As a preliminary step, we’re
currently trying to identify all relevant research that has already been
carried out. So I’d be really grateful if you could let me know of any
research which you think should be taken into account.
This could include research on any of the following;

* attitudes, levels of awareness and understanding of any social group
towards climate change
* the effectiveness of any communication strategy or campaign on an
environmental or social issue (especially those which sought to bring
about behavioural change)
* the methodology behind any communication strategy or campaign on any
environmental or social issue (especially those which sought to bring
about behavioural change)
* the relative significance of concerns about climate change within a
spectrum of concerns held by any social group
* the drivers and barriers for mainstream adoption of any climate change
‘solution’ by the public (e.g. Renewable energy; sustainable transport;
efficient appliances)

This is not an exhaustive list – so please feel free to send information
on anything you think would be relevant. International examples as well
as Australian are welcome.

Please send pdf copies or urls by email if possible.

Many thanks,

Claire Morgan
Sustainability Advisor
