A one-day seminar on cruise ship medical practice. Please pass this
information to anyone whom you think might have an interest or is merely
curious.

Experience on board is now becoming more recognised for its value; more
physicians of all "ages" and levels of experience are becoming interested.
Emergency Medicine and General Practice are the most common backgrounds for
ship physicians, which is why I thought to let the list know. For
yourselves, your colleagues or your juniors - doctors as well as nurses, of
course.

This is, of course, only for people prepared to make the sacrifice of
tearing themselves from the very
well-paid-stress-free-short-sociable-hours-NHS in order to suffer the
Caribbean heat, working 25-30 hours a week, having to have your "home" where
others pay to vacation and all for a measly sum (for some) of £120K-£160K
pa, which is so derisory that even the taxman can't be bothered to tax it...
