Hi Steve

We are currently trialling CE4 but would probably go straight to CE6 over the summer if we decide to go with it.

Which version of WebCT are you trialling and with which version would you go live?

Subject: [VLES] Technical support for VLEs

Hi

We are currently trialling WebCT and Moodle at South Devon College at the moment and hope to make a decision about which one to go with by the end of this month.  I was wondering what the level of technical support is for each.  By this I mean Computer Services support to deal with maintenance, fixing any issues or customising systems.  We will have a separate administrator who will deal with course creation, user accounts and general user issues.

For those of you using either WebCT or Moodle, how much technical support do you have?  Do you have a person devoted to the VLE or is it part of your computer services provision?

Thank you in advance!!

Becky
