Vacancies at the University of York
Digital Learning Resources Manager (Ref: AO05196) and Learning Technologist
(Ref: AO05197)
Both posts are full-time, permanent and based in the E-Learning Development
Team. 
Salary in the range: £22,507 - £29,128 p.a.

Learning Technologist  

You will promote the University’s centrally managed virtual learning
environment, Blackboard Academic Suite, championing its value in supporting
learning and teaching activities across the full range of disciplines at
York. You will also provide learning technology advice and support,
assisting staff in the design and delivery of blended and distance-learning
courses.  Educated to degree level and with relevant work experience, you
will have a sound knowledge of web-based pedagogy, e-learning standards and
legislation pertinent to the design and delivery of online courses, coupled
with good organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.


Digital Learning Resources Manager 

You will provide learning technology advice and support to staff, assisting
in the development, adaptation or reuse of e-learning resources. You will
also promote the content management system of Blackboard Academic System,
championing its value as a repository for reusable learning objects and as a
tool for sharing resources across the university.  Educated to degree level
and with relevant work experience, you will have a sound knowledge of
web-based pedagogy, the development of interactive learning materials,
e-learning standards and legislation pertinent to the design and delivery of
on-line courses, coupled with good organisational, problem-solving and
interpersonal skills.
