LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN SOCIAL
POLICY - UNIVERSITY OF KENT
The School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Policy
(SSPSSR) invites applications for the above post. SSPSSR is one
of the largest departments of its type in the UK, and is the largest department
in the Faculty of Social Sciences. The
School has a strong research culture and has a 6* RAE rating. The
University of Kent was rated as one of the best universities for teaching
Social Policy, coming third in the UK in the Guardian newspaper's 2005
national Higher Education League Table.
Applicants
should have or be developing a strong research record and be able to contribute
to the School's teaching. The School is keen to develop in new areas, e.g.
global justice and human rights; economic development and social and political
change; non-governmental organisations; migration and refugees: citizenship and
social exclusion; welfare in developing countries, especially in East Asia.
However, this list is not restrictive.
This post is permanent and will be available from 1st August 2005, or later
by arrangement.
