ESRC CASE PhD
studentships
Applications are invited for two fully funded
ESRC CASE PhD studentships, to commence in October
2005:
1. Research on participation of
parents with disabled children in service development, in collaboration with
Contact a Family, supervised by Professor Tricia Sloper and Pauline Shelley
(Contact a Family)
2. Research on the
impact of regulatory activity on social services providers and the experience of
service users, in collaboration with the Commission for Social Care Inspection,
supervised by Professor Ian Shaw and Professor Geraldine Macdonald (Commission
for Social Care Inspection)
Applicants should have a good degree in
social or health sciences and have already completed, or expect to complete by
October 2005, an ESRC research training course or its equivalent.
