Colleagues

Many thanks to everyone who has ordered a Flying Suitcase .  If you haven't heard of this great resource, please read on...

Visit Denmark’s Flying Suitcase is a beautiful suitcase designed for schools and libraries. It contains information on Andersen’s life and home country, Puffin books, posters, a dvd and an activities CD Rom written and designed by the British Library, who are hosting a major Hans Christian Andersen exhibition for all ages this summer.

500 of VisitDenmark's Flying Suitcases are being distributed free of charge to UK public libraries to celebrate the bicentenary of Hans Christian Andersen’s birth on a first-come, first served basis and on the understanding that each Flying Suitcase is shared between at least four libraries in the area.
