The day forms past of the visit of Professor Michael Shanks (Stanford University) to Bristol as a Benjamin Meaker Fellow, and Michael will begin each section of the discussion with a short presentation on three themes: Collection, Site, and Metamorphosis. The round table brings together postgraduates working on archaeologies of the recent and contemporary past, and colleagues from outside Bristol working in this field.
