I was not aware that Kipling owned another property at Ticehurst and there is no mention of it in Andrew Lycett's recent biography, nor in other biographies I have checked. However, I will post your query on our mail base and let you have any replies. Kipling's parents retired to Tisbury, near Salisbury in Wiltshire in the early 1890s, and Kipling spent time there, over the years, discussing his ideas with his father.
