Dear All, The news from QSR International is - NVivo 7! QSR will launch late this year a very new product. It takes the strengths of N6, (the latest NUD*IST), and NVivo 2, and adds new features and tools that will allow researchers to work in new ways. NVivo 7 is the fulfillment of major goals here at QSR - to offer the strengths of both products in one, which would also break barriers to project languages and project size and extend the tools for traditional subtle qualitative analysis. Where and when can you see NVivo 7? The first demonstration of NVivo 7 will be at the annual conference on "Strategies in Qualitative Research using QSR Software" .This year's conference will be held at the University of Durham 21-24th September 2005. The call for papers is now on the website at http://www.dur.ac.uk/strategies.conference/. There will be a CAQDAS presentation by Tom Richards and myself on 27 September, 2005 - go to the CAQDAS website for details. QSR and its network of trainers will hold introductory workshops in NVivo 7 early in 2006 in Australia, North America and UK. Training the trainers for NVivo 7 The first trainers' event will be on September 20, 2005, at Durham. QSR's annual trainer training week will be held in Melbourne from 28 - 29 November. This year's event will be restricted to those already training in QSR software, and places are restricted. There will be events for new trainers in the US, UK and Australia in early 2006. It's written for those inside and outside academia who want practical advice on doing justice to data, especially if they are doing it with software.
