NEW - Researching Mergers & Acquisitions - 27 April

This is a new basic level course designed to be a primer in researching merger and acquisitions deals (M&A). Global deal activity is set to exceed $1 trillion in 2004 and as companies now usually grow by M&A, it is a vital skill for all business information specialists to understand how to conduct and structure good research into all types of deals. The course covers the M&A in the UK, but with references to Continental Europe and the US.

NEW - Researching British Companies - 12 May

This is a new basic level course designed to be a really up to date survey of researching the British corporate sector.
It will help give perspective and depth not just to those to those working in information departments in the private sector and the advisory firms, but is also a primer for information staff in the not-for profit organisations, public library reference and in local and regional government.
