Applications are invited for the following post at Manchester Metropolitan University: Curator of the Design Council Slide Collection/Research Associate in Craft and Design Faculty of Art and Design You will curate the Design Council Slide Collection, ensuring that professional standards are maintained in its stewardship, and developing its use as a resource for the academic community. The successful candidate will equally play a central role in contributing to and consolidating research activity in aspects of craft and design, assist in the preparation of funding bids, and work with colleagues to co-ordinate and facilitate the presentation of research outputs. You should have a Higher Degree in Art and Design, History of Art and Design or a related discipline, high quality research skills, and a knowledge and understanding of good practice in the care and management of image collections.
