International Conference on Case Study Teaching and Learning

 

LEARNING FROM EXPERIENCE: BEST CASE SCENARIOS

CALL FOR PAPERS

 

Submissions are requested for this international forum on teaching and
learning from case studies. Submissions are invited in all areas of
organizational life, with particular emphasis in areas that cross
disciplines and areas of inquiry, and address key issues that confront
the contemporary enterprise, including:

*       Innovation
*       Leadership and strategy
*       Internationalization
*       Governance
*       The management of knowledge and talent

  

The conference committee invites submissions for:

*       a refereed paper track of teaching cases (4000-7000 words) and
notes; 
*       as well as papers that address the case paradigm of teaching and
learning. 

 

Participants may also submit proposals for symposia and workshops.
Poster sessions are also available for short cases (2000 words or less)
with teaching notes. 

 

Conference publications:

*       All refereed acceptances will be published in a conference
proceedings (CD-ROM).
*       Selected cases will also be published in an edited book
(forthcoming November, 2005).
*       Conference streams will also provide opportunities for special
issues of selected journals in 2006.

 

 

Deadline for submissions:                 Monday, 25 April 2005

of international cases, as well as renowned keynote presenters from
Harvard, Darden, London School of Economics and other world-class
case-teaching centres. The conference will provide exposure to the best
of case teaching and teaching cases!
