When the brand new University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital opens its 155-bed facility this winter, the building will be unwired. Facility management company
Johnson Controls has installed the
InnerWireless antenna system so wireless access will be available at all locations in the building, which will include VoIP telephony for nursing staff communications, wireless bedside admission tools, and the ability for patients and visitors to go online with their own Wi-3087291Fi-enabled laptops or PDAs. --
