State offering replicas of vintage maps

Star-Telegram Staff Writer
A copy of the 1849 Jacob De Cordova map of Texas hangs in a military tent in Iraq. Other copies are mounted, framed and neatly displayed in homes all over the state.
The De Cordova map is the No. 1 seller among the hundreds of maps at the Texas General Land Office. And sales are up.
