We are delighted to be able to announce than after two years work that our two new British Sign Language/English online glossaries for "science" and "engineering and the built environment" are now available. The existing glossary for art and design (www.artsigns.ac.uk) has been updated and many signs changed/added. You can see the glossaries here: http://www.sciencesigns.ac.uk http://www.engineeringsigns.ac.uk (this web site can also be reached through http://www.builtenvsigns.ac.uk) http://www.artsigns.ac.uk The glossaries are a collection of the signs used by Deaf professionals in the field and have been chosen by leading Deaf linguists. Collectively, these resources amount to the largest bank of specialist terminology in British Sign Language available.
