This workshop is aimed at beginners who wish to create webspages, either because they
wish to create a website or because they are taking on the responsibility for writing
or updating existing web pages. The workshop will use the HoTMetaL authoring
software, but the knowledge obtained will be appropriate for any other authoring software
participants may use.
BY THE END OF THE EVENT PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE:
* created at least one web page which will include all the key elements of links,
images, bullet points & tables
* understood how to make their site more interactive for end users
* appreciated and have learnt about site engines, sitemaps, polls & quizzes
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
For all those who are new to creating web pages and/or editing existing content.

Phil's background is in the information profession and he is a highly experienced trainer, web designer and Internet consultant. He is well known as the author of the acclaimed Advanced Internet Searcher's Handbook
