I am aware of current work by researchers such as Levine et al regarding the use of horses as riding animals, however is anyone aware of any comparable research upon other animals e.g. camels, mules, donkeys, etc etc... ? I am particularly interested in anything that focuses on pathological alteration such as arthritic changes, however any suggestions of things I could look into would be greatly appreciated.
