The English Department at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, has an opening for a

Lektor/Lektorin
(66% Wiss. Mitarb. - starting March 2006)

to teach the English language (with an emphasis on writing skills) as well as British/American culture to students at BA and MA level. The appointee will be one of four Lektoren. Teaching duties are ten contact hours per week, and it is expected that the successful candidate will take an active part in BA and MA language course design. The salary is 73,000 Swiss Francs per annum before tax and other deductions. The contract will be for an initial period of three years with the possibility of tenure.
